Marianna Papamakariou was born in Larnaca, Cyprus. Her love for singing started from an early age and following her graduation from high school she chose to study musicology with a specialty in pop and jazz at the State Musical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In 2007 she took part in the famed Thessaloniki Festival with the song titled “Ta Stolidia Mas” and in 2008 she was featured in the TV show “Rewind”.
