Χάρης Κωστόπουλος

Haris Kostopoulos was born in 1964 in a musical family as both his brothers are musicians.

He started playing the bouzouki at an early age and when he was a teenager he started his career playing in various stages of Northern Greece while also taking up music composition.

He has penned songs for many important Greek singers, such as Vasilis Karras, Mary Vossou, Makis Xristodoulopoulos, Stamatis Gonidis, Zafiris Melas, Lefteris Pantazis, Hara Verra and Antipas.

Haris released his first studio album in 1987 titled “As Ksehasto” and 22 more have followed since, comprising a successful recording career with many hits. Some of them are “Me Ksehnas”, “Ise Mia Thea”, “Ti Amarties Eho Kani”, “Edo Se Thelo Kardia Mou”, “Poulao Trela” and “Proto Thema”.

In addition to his recording career Haris has toured around the world, with many live shows in Germany, Australia, and the United States
