Dimitris Giannoulos was born and raised in Mytilene, Greece. From a very young age, he fell in love with music and became fascinated by the beauty of expressing thoughts and emotions through sound. His musical journey has been rich and diverse he explored the depths of Byzantine music, studied drums, embraced the bouzouki, and honed his theoretical knowledge at the local music school.
In 2012, while studying economics at Panteion University in Athens, he realized that academics alone could not contain his creative spirit. His need to express inner thoughts and emotional states through music became irresistible.
Alongside vocal training, he worked various jobs to support himself. Yet, destiny had its own plans soon, he found himself performing in music venues across Athens and the Greek countryside. The art and science of sound music ultimately left its mark on him.
Dimitris Giannoulos carries a world within him. But he prefers to sing it.
