Kalomira is an award-winning Greek-American singer, songwriter, actress, and television host. Born and raised in New York, she came to prominence in 2004 after winning “Fame Story,” a Greek singing competition television show similar to “American Idol.”
Kalomira gained worldwide fame representing Greece in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest where she won third place performing her song, “Secret Combination.” which charted across Europe and the UK and became a top 40 hit in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland and Sweden.
In total, she has released four studio albums and numerous digital singles. Kalomira has appeared on NBC’s “The Today Show” being interviewed by Katie Couric, “Access Hollywood,” and “Fox News” during the Greek Independence Day parade, and has been featured in “The Washington Post,” “Newsday,” and “The New York Times.”
After taking some years out of the spotlight to focus on raising her young family, Kalomira made a highly-anticipated comeback with the upbeat dance song “Stohos” in the summer of 2023 which was enthusiastically received by fans. Kalomira also joined the TV show “Just the 2 of Us” where she reached the final, impressing audiences with her stage performances, as well as “I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here!” where she served as the co-host.
