Η Κάτια Σαμαντζή γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στις Σέρρες. Αφού ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές της στην Ιατρική Πληροφορική, επέκτεινε τις γνώσεις της στη μουσική, σπουδάζοντας μοντέρνο τραγούδι και θεωρία μουσικής. Όπως έχει δηλώσει η ίδια, “η μουσική είναι η τροφή της ψυχής μου” και μέσω αυτής φιλοδοξεί να εκφράσει τη δική της ιστορία.
Τα πρώτα της βήματα στον καλλιτεχνικό χώρο ξεκίνησαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη, όπου συνεργάστηκε με σημαντικά ονόματα της έντεχνης ροκ και λαϊκής σκηνής. Μεταξύ άλλων, υπήρξε συνεργάτιδα του συγκροτήματος C:Real, με το οποίο δισκογράφησαν δύο singles: “Όπου με πάει η καρδιά μου” και “Πες μου πως γίνεται”.
Το 2024 συνεργάστηκε με τον Στέλιο Μαργωμένο, ο οποίος συνέθεσε για εκείνη το τραγούδι “Ένα βήμα”, εμπνευσμένο από τη ζωή της Ζήνας Κουτσελίνη. Η ίδια αισθάνθηκε πως αυτό το τραγούδι είναι “το βήμα” για όλα αυτά που έρχονται, ενώ τώρα ετοιμάζει μια ολοκληρωμένη δισκογραφική δουλειά, με πρώτο single το “Έφυγα Πρώτη” συνοδευόμενο από ένα εντυπωσιακό music video σε σκηνοθεσία Alex Konstantinidis.
Katia Samantzi was born and raised in Serres, Greece. After completing her studies in Medical Informatics, she pursued her passion for music by studying contemporary vocal performance and music theory. As she has said, “Music is the food of my soul” and through it she aspires to tell her own story.
She began her professional music career in Thessaloniki, where she collaborated with acclaimed artists from the Greek entechno, rock, and laïko music scenes. Among her early collaborations was the renowned Greek band C:Real, with whom she released two singles, “Opou Me Paei I Kardia Mou” and “Pes Mou Pos Ginetai”.
In 2024, she collaborated with composer Stelios Margomenos on the song “Ena Vima”, inspired by the life story of Greek television presenter Zina Koutselini. Katia considers this song to be toward “Ena Vima” everything that lies ahead. She is currently working on her upcoming music project, with “Efyga Proti” serving as its lead single, accompanied by a visually striking music video directed by Alex Konstantinidis.
