Loukia Valasi, is a singer, musician and performer. She has collaborated as a singer and a Santouri soloist with many significant, prominent Greek and foreign artists in Greece and abroad like Giorgos Dalaras, Kostas Makedonas, Dimitris Mpasis, Giota Negka, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Christos Nikolopoulos etc.
She has been awarded for her contribution in music from the UNESCO club of the department of Piraeus and Islands and from the federation of the European Thessalians in Munich, while also obtaining many honourable titles and awards in artistic contests and festivals in Greece and abroad.
Loukia also wrote music for the English-Greek film “The Winter”. A milestone in her artistic career was filming her first music video on Mount Olympus, interpreting the masterpiece “Magic Night”, and connecting the music legend Mikis Theodorakis with the mythical mountain of antiquity, Mount Olympus.
Her second music video with title “Hymn of Peace”, penned by Loukia and Stella Valassi, took place at the Ancient Theatre of Larissa highlighting her cultural heritage.
Recently, Loukia represented Greece at the notable Indian festival Tansen Samaroh, where artists and music lovers from all over the world gather, receiving excellent reviews.
