Panos Kalidis is a Greek singer, born and raised in Drama.
He has a strong knowledge and connection with traditional Greek music, as he also plays the Pontic Lyra.
Moving towards the Greek laiko genre, he appeared in many night clubs in both Thessaloniki and the countryside, and at age 26 he started performing in Athens.
In 2005 he released his debut, self-titled studio album which received positive reception from both critics and audiences alike. He continued a steady output of albums which led to iconic hits such as Kou Pepe which has reached 20 million views on YouTube, Vale Ta Kala Sou, as well as Eho Giorti released in 2014.
He has collaborated with many renowned names of the Greek music scene such as Nikos Vertis, Nikos Kourkoulis, Despina Vandi, Nikos Makropoulos, Konstantinos Argiros, Lefteris Pantazis, and others. In addition he has taken part on high-rated TV shows such as Survivor Greece, Just the 2 of Us and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
In 2023 he released Asto Pano Mou which became an instant hit, amassing 3 million views on YouTube before the end of the year.
